I have been using the same car park that Andy used to run on matchdays, and although the people running it now are nice, it’s as well run as it was previously. I still miss seeing Andy’s smiling face when I get there too!

I got to know Andy from being a regular customer at the Church of the Resurrection School match day car park over a number of seasons. Come rain or shine, he always had a smile on his face and good things to say about our beloved Manchester City! It was a terrible shock to hear of Andy’s sad passing, and I know that many of the regulars at the car park were just as upset about it as I was. It was only after hearing the sad news that I found out that Andy was a Labour councillor and Governor at the school. He was a humble, kind and warm person who always tried to make a difference, and I’m sure he’ll be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to get to know him! RIP Andy!
